Mountain views: I felt like I was on top of the world, with the expansive mountain views from my apartment. It was a breathtaking sight that made me forget about all my worries and just appreciate the beauty of nature.
Hedge obstruction: The hedge in front of the patio was a minor inconvenience. It blocked the full view of the countryside when I was sitting down.

The breathtaking mountain views from the apartment were absolutely stunning. It felt like being in a postcard, surrounded by nature's beauty. I couldn't resist capturing the sunset from the large patio area, which felt like a hidden oasis. The BBQ facilities made it even more enjoyable, as we grilled and dined under the open sky. Plus, the free continental breakfast was a delightful treat to start each day of our stay.
Limited electricity backup during a power outage.

We recently had a good stay at Kauri Lodge. The studio was clean and cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. We were impressed by the beautiful garden surrounding the hotel, it made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts, Beryl and Allan, were friendly and accommodating. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The location of the lodge was also very convenient, great to easily explore the surrounding area. We enjoyed our time here and would love to return for a longer stay in the future. we highly recommend Kauri Lodge for a nice and enjoyable stay.

Lovely big 2 bedroom apartment with spacious living/dining/kitchen area. Comfortable beds and beautiful sunset views. Helpful host who provided breakfast. Only 12 minutes from Hobbiton. Toys and games kept our little one entertained.

Always stay here, no regrets. Staff gave currency advice first time. Perfect - had everything I needed: Free Wi-Fi, parking, dryer, kettle, cookware, AC. No pets, 24-hour security, no smoking. Coming back.
